Our referral service connects you with independent, licensed contractors we know from decades of supplying them. They are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. Any work you hire them for is a contract between you and the contractor. While we refer only contractors we hold in high regard, we don't supervise their work and aren't responsible for their estimates, workmanship, schedules, or warranties. Always verify license and insurance at cslb.ca.gov before signing anything — a good contractor won't mind.
Specifications, lifespans, price tiers, and availability shown on this site are general guidance and can change without notice. Manufacturer specifications control. Stock availability is confirmed by phone or at the counter, not by this website.
Everything on this site — text, photos of our yards and showrooms, the South Coast Shingle and A-1 Building Materials logos, and the Rufus Leakin comic strips — belongs to South Coast Shingle Company, Inc. or its licensors.
